Penny's Haircut

6th May - Head Shave

Being disabled, Penny Stephens is limited as to what she could do to help the cause so bravely decided to have a head shave. She thought it only right that the shave was carried out using dog clippers!! On 6th May Penny went to Tamar View Dog Groomers in Saltash, Cornwall and the event was covered by the Plymouth Evening Herald newspaper. To date Penny has raised in excess of £1,200.

Here is a poem which Penny wrote –

I’m feeling kind of funny

I’m going to lose my hair

But knowing why I’m doing it

Just makes it all seem fair

For precious friends are dying

Without the care they need

So we must all join forces

Until we all succeed

Our furry friends all need us

To be their voice you see

To spread the word about them

And give them what they need

So off I’ll go tomorrow

Happy in my heart

That all our precious angels

Did not in vain depart

Thank you Penny. A fantastic achievement.
